Hello, Reader! I’m a Croatian-born photographer based in California, where I live with my husband and our three German Shepherds. There’s also one very important honorary mention: my Goldie, Froda, who is currently living her best, most glamorous life back in Croatia.

Online journaling and documenting life through photos has been a part of my life for a long time. Even though I sometimes disappear from blogging for months at a time, I always find my way back to it. Apparently, this corner of the internet and I are in a long-term, on-again, off-again relationship. Since moving to the States and leaving my full-time job in Croatia, I’ve found myself with a lot more free time, which means my favorite excuse has quietly packed its bags and left.

I’ve never liked putting myself in a neat little box when it comes to photography or writing. Still, over the course of nearly 20 years, this blog has naturally grown into a collection of quiet still life, landscapes, travel memories, and the occasional assortment of nouns, verbs, and adjectives.

When I’m not taking photos or neglecting my blog just enough to miss it, I love researching history, playing video games, reading, and traveling. I’m also a proud creature of habit, forever rewatching favorite movies and TV shows that have set up camp in my brain and live rent free, like The Office or Jaws. I’ve also tried my hand at creative writing, with results best described as sincere and occasionally questionable.
