Last Year in Photos | Historic Tehachapi on a Cloudy Autumn Day

It’s no secret autumn is my favorite time of the year. Combine that with a camera, picturesque small town, husband who enjoys my photowalks and — surprise, surprise, you end up with a new blog post. Nine months later — almost to the day. I know.  Lately, I’ve been sort of fed up with the summer weather we’ve been having since what it feels like forever. I wish I could blame Southern California, but I can’t. It’s not its fault I intentionally moved here for love from a country that regularly sees rain, regardless of the season. It almost never rains here during the summer and the sky is always blue. Maybe that’s the reason I’m sharing these autumnal photos now. Maybe, subconsciously, I knew I would reach a moody weather deprivation breaking point and these shots would help me cope. I’m sure that’s the reason. 😅 However, there is one comforting fact — the beloved season starts again in little more than a month. Until then, here are a few photos featuring a historic Tehachapi which houses date back to late 19th century. God bless!
